LINDA
TAIX
Linda Taix, owner and founder of Extreme Boot Camp and Taix
Workout Studio, has been a lifelong fitness enthusiast. She
has been certified for over sixteen years with the Aerobic
and Fitness Association of America, and for more than seven
years with the American College of Sports Medicine. A certified
scuba diver and a skydiver, Linda has also competed in several
duathlon and triathlon events. She has been featured on television
for health and fitness programs including Body by Jake and
Crunch, and has participated in several bodybuilding competitions.
Linda has served as the national spokes-model for Tuff Stuff
Gym Equipment, Fat Burner Machine, and most recently, The Jet
Flex. She majored in Exercise Science at the University of
Southern California and is committed to providing personalized
one-on-one fitness training. |

DAVID
KNOX
David Knox is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal
Trainer and holds two black belts in Japanese martial arts.
He trained and coached the leading Tae Kwon Do Black Belt of
India to a second-place finish in international competition;
this led to his work with an elite NYPD anti-crime unit as
well as former White House Secret Service officers on private
security issues. David also has an extensive background in
ballet, jazz, modern, and ethnic dances, having performed in
Europe, the U.S., and Canada. He has taught yoga for over twenty
years and is also certified in weight training and kickboxing. |

GARY
KASPER
Gary Kasper is an American Council on Exercise Certified Trainer
and has been a professional actor and stuntman for over twenty
years. He appeared as Jake Fury on the television show Battle
Dome, where he used his expertise in wrestling and Judo
to compete against athletes from all over the country. Gary
also has an extensive background in football as an all-city
high school player and a Junior All-American Coach. He also
played on the Los Angeles Times football team and competed
in Extreme Sports. |

CHAD
BELKNAP
Chad Belknap has been an International Sports Science Association
Certified Personal Fitness trainer for over five years. He
is currently an instructor for Extreme Boot Camp, leading members
through extensive workouts aimed at improving strength, stamina,
and overall conditioning. He spent four years as an Army Airborne
Medical Specialist for the prestigious Ranger School. He is
a natural athlete; he plays football and is involved with adventure
racing. Chad's military background, coupled with his fitness
credentials, provides clients with a new perspective for reaching
their own fitness goals. |

AMIRAH
LEONARD
Amirah Leonard is a certified fitness trainer with the Aerobics
and Fitness Association of America. She has a strong athletic
background, particularly in basketball and soccer. At Ventura
College, she became the Junior College California State Player
of the Year; she later won a full basketball scholarship to
Clemson University, where she graduated with a B.A. in speech
and communications and minored in social science. After college,
Amirah played professional basketball in Virum, Denmark. While
there, she also coached 14 different high schools. Currently,
she coaches the girls' varsity basketball team at her alma
mater, Crescenta Valley High School; she also continues to
privately coach at the junior high, high school, and collegiate
levels. Amirah was recently one of the longest-running contestants
on NBC's Couples Fear Factor. |

JAMES
KESHAVARZ
James Keshavarz is a certified personal trainer with the Aerobics
Fitness Association of America. A former member of the Air
Force Auxiliary, training in search and rescue, James has also
trained for urban search and rescue, confined-space rescue,
and wild land rescue. James is the founder of, and instructor
for, Runners High Training Program, which specializes in endurance
workouts. He is currently a high school and college Track and
Field Coach with a specialty in pole
vault. He has competed in triathlons, marathons, steeplechase,
and pole vault. |

RICK
MENCOS
Rick is an active U.S. Marine reservist. He is in the 279 Infantry
as a 0351 Assault Man, and meets with his unit every month.
An instructor for Extreme Boot Camp, Rick is also a cross-country
coach and distinguished long-distance track runner, having
placed in League. Rick motivates—but doesn't humiliate. |

BRENT
PATTISON
Brent Pattison is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America
Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. He has been involved in
athletics all his life, competing in both football and track
at the collegiate level. Brent has served as the La Canada
High School varsity football coach for the past three years.
He remains highly involved in extreme sports as a competitive
surfer and snow boarder. Brent's variety of athletic experience,
combined with his expertise, gives him the ability to help
his clients achieve any fitness goal. |

BEN
KIENTZ
Ben Kientz is a National Strength & Conditioning Association
Certified Trainer and a former national champion swimmer. Ben
has also coached swimming at championship clubs and colleges
for the past six years. He has a bachelor's of science degree
from the University of Cincinnati in Pre-Med with an emphasis
in anatomy and physiology. Ben also has an extensive background
in football, basketball, and as a strength trainer/coach. |

SARKIS
MARKARIAN
Sarkis is an elite athlete in soccer and track & field.
He's won many sporting events, such as the 100 and 200 meter
sprints. He's competed in strong man competitions, and has trained
as a heavy weight boxer. Sarkis is also a Runners High Training
coach. He also enjoys participating in extreme sports, such
as surfing and snowboarding. Sarkis is certified with the AFAA. |

ANN BRAUN
Ann Braun is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. In 2006 Ann developed an outdoor stroller fitness program, and continues to teach that as well as Boot Camp. She is also trained as a running coach and Pilates instructor.
Ann's love of fitness began as a Gymnast then progressed to coaching gymnastics. Later she developed a love of running, and began to compete in road races. She has won many races from 5k all the way to marathon, as well as coached many runners to run their first races, win age division places and qualify to run the Boston Marathon. Ann brings a lifetime of enthusiasm for sports like rock climbing, skiing, windsurfing, and running to her coaching life. She knows what it takes to juggle family, career, and fitness.

VICKY
MOON
Vicky is a personal trainer with a dedication for fitness. She
is trained in martial arts and has extensive knowledge in both
karate and tae kwon do. She has an impressive background in
kick boxing and tai chi. She is a competitive cross country
runner, and is also a part of the Runner’s High Program.
She is pursuing nutrition and has an abundant knowledge in nutrition
and supplementation. Vicky has a remarkable amount of energy
and passion with her work and shows great pleasure helping others. |

MONIQUE
CASSIS
Monique Cassis is an American Council on Exercise Certified
Trainer and has had over 20 years of experience in the Fitness
Industry. She is an accomplished Japanese Martial Artist in
Shotokan and Gosoku Ryu and is also trained in Kubotan self
defense. Monique has run a woman’s health club in Washington
State and also trained women in body sculpting. |

TRISTON MITCHELL
Triston Mitchell is a nationally certified strength and conditioning specialist with the American Fitness Professionals and Associates. With a background in injury rehabilitation and pre-habilitation, Triston prides himself with his functional and safe training methods. He has over 7 years of semi-professional football experience and still competes on the field in his spare time. Triston also trains teams and individual athletes, creating conditioning programs specific to their set goals. He is very excited to be a part of the Extreme Team. |

RAQUELLE MARTINEZ
Raquelle is a certified personal fitness trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has been involved in the fitness world for almost ten years and loves new challenges. Raquelle has a passion for extreme sports, especially mountain biking. She also enjoys snowboarding and running and is currently a student in Pasadena, majoring in nursing. | |

SCOTT EDENS Scott was a sergeant in the U.S. Army’s Medium Weight Reconnaissance Squadron where he received a rare prestigious award for physical fitness. He is a certified personal trainer with the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers and has trained in cross-country and track and field as well as having coached softball for the last six years. He has trained professional athletes in the MLB and has helped NCAA athletes in injury rehabilitation and strength conditioning. Scott has also surfed for nearly 12 years and is a certified scuba diver. He has recently begun working on his own series of fitness take-home DVDs focusing on weight loss and strength training. Scott is fiercely dedicated to motivating and directing his clients to reach their personal fitness goals in fun and exciting ways.
