- What type of people can I expect
to meet at Extreme Boot Camp?
You'll meet individuals just like yourself: People who seek discipline
in an organized group, who want to do something different… and
who appreciate a challenge!
- What is a typical day at boot
camp like?
That's hard to say, because every day is different. One day could
be an endurance day; another could be a strengthening day; yet
another could be an obstacle-course day. At Extreme Boot Camp,
we work to challenge every muscle in your body, from your fast-twitch
to your slow-twitch muscle fibers, keeping your body challenged
and your mind interested at the same time.
- Will I be sore?
In a word, yes. The first two to three weeks will be the toughest
for your body to adjust to. However, once you acclimate to
the program, you'll feel sore less often throughout the remaining
six weeks. Remember, it's a good thing! We work on stretching,
warm-ups, and cool-downs to help minimize the soreness.
- When will I start seeing results?
Within the first week—and sometimes, within the first three
days! If you follow the program and nutrition guide with maximum
effort, you can expect to see amazing results, such as increased
muscle tone, loss of inches from head to toe, (some losing as
much as 31 inches in a single six-week session), increased stamina,
better sleep, faster metabolism (which burns the stored body
fat), and most of all, the happiness that comes with being a
healthier person!
- What items will I have to purchase?
We ask that you have 5-10 lb dumbbells, an exercise mat, (not
a yoga mat), a good pair of running shoes, a jump rope, and
water.
- Do you have a refund policy?
No, we don't offer refunds. If you miss time due to business
travel, vacation, or illness, we will be happy to credit that
time toward your next boot camp session. However, we must be
informed of your circumstances immediately. There is no monetary
refund and this is non-negotiable. Individual boot camps work
on a set schedule.
- Do we still work out when it's
raining?
Absolutely! Rain or shine, we are working out! This
is boot camp, military-style, where a little rain never hurt
anyone! As our Marine Corps Drill Instructors, or DIs, say: "Hoowah!"
- What is the difference between
Extreme and Beginner boot camp?
Extreme boot camp involves running, sprinting, and high-impact
exercises, whereas beginner boot camp involves power walking,
power hiking, and low-impact—but not low-intensity exercises.
- What happens when the six-week
session ends?
On the last day of boot camp following the re-testing, we provide
you with a graduation breakfast (no, it's not tofu!), and reward
those individuals who have gone "over and above" the
call of duty. You'll receive an Extreme Boot Camp T-shirt to
wear with pride. You may also find yourself in the 85 percentile
of those who return, having acquired a healthy addiction to Extreme
Boot Camp!
